Living in an informal settlement
Yet another day in my shack. How great. You can already here that I live in a informal settlement, yes you may say that living in shack is a piece of trash, but it’s my home. I wake up on the floor, still dark outside. I start to get ready to go to school, I get dressed I expected that we would have breakfast this time, but no we didn’t sadly. I said goodbye to my mom as I walked through the door, the sun started to rise as I was on my way to school, it felt nice to have the sun shining on my face. The way to school is kinda far from my house, on my way I had to cross a river from what looks like it was left from the flood we had a week ago. It seemed I wasn’t the only one crossing this river. There were other children, also small children. They seemed to be struggling to get to the other side of the river, but I had no time to help them. I really wish our school was a bit more secured , because we had another brake in. The rest of our electronics were stolen, not like we need...
