My first few weeks of Grade 5

My First Few Weeks of Grade 5 :^)

Grade 5 has been the best year yet, because in our tests I would at least get over 70%!
My teacher,Mr Raven, is such a kind teacher,unless he gets mad at the boys but his also mature,expressive and generous.The first week of Grade 5 was splendid but it was kind of hard for me to get used to a boy teacher for my first time. We started lots of new subjects like Language,Creative Writing,Comprehension, ect. I would also recommend for you to listen to the teacher or your gonna end up in detention.

On one of the weeks we did an oral about a "Fantasy Creature" that we had o make up, we needed to act like the creature, sound like the creature and talk about the creature. There were lots of creative orals in our class!

 I suggets you should go to Elkanah to! You will have the time of you life.

The Grade 4 Camp

Two weeks ago we went on camp. We went to a place called Giraffe House we saw so many animals we saw a Giraffe and a few other animals and one of my favorite animals were the Llama. After we saw the the animals we went on the bus again, it was very boring.We finally got to camp everyone was so exited even the teachers were exited. When we got there we saw four people standing there. They were explaining the rules but here was the exiting part we could look at our dorms! There were two bunk beds and I was on the top bunk and also the people who were with me was Aimee, Danika and this other girl but I forgot her name. It was very beautiful there,  it was very green but it was very warm. The Singing Inspector By Benny (Arianne Marais)

Yesterday was very pleasant. I got to school and I was feeling it was going to be a fantastic day, but I guessed wrong. When I entered the class there he was, the Singing Inspector. He’s name was Raymond. He was a tall man with huge knickerbockers and thick stocking like a hunting man. He had a round flushed red face and eyes like blue gooseberrys and golden curls on his head. He was indeed, the most cruel and hatefullest man I have ever known. This is what he did to us. He called everyone to come in the big room expect the little ones and the big boys like Jack Long and Paulus who only did exams and no singing. Then we had to do the doh Ray me fah and tata tete things. Then the worst part, singing. He called out me and Charles. Living in an informal settlement

Yet another day in my shack. How great. You can already here that I live in a informal settlement, yes you may say that living in shack is a piece of trash, but it’s my home. I wake up on the floor, still dark outside. I start to get ready to go to school, I get dressed I expected that we would have breakfast this time, but no we didn’t sadly. I said goodbye to my mom as I walked through the door, the sun started to rise as I was on my way to school, it felt nice to have the sun shining on my face. The way to school is kinda far from my house, on my way I had to cross a river from what looks like it was left from the flood we had a week ago. It seemed I wasn’t the only one crossing this river. There were other children, also small children. They seemed to be struggling to get to the other side of the river, but I had no time to help them.
