The Grade 4 Camp

Two weeks ago we went on camp. We went to a place called Giraffe House we saw so many animals we saw a Giraffe and a few other animals and one of my favorite animals were the Llama. After we saw the the animals we went on the bus again, it was very boring.We finally got to camp everyone was so exited even the teachers were exited. When we got there we saw four people standing there. They were explaining the rules but here was the exiting part we could look at our dorms! There were two bunk beds and I was on the top bunk and also the people who were with me was Aimee, Danika and this other girl but I forgot her name. It was very beautiful there,  it was very green but it was very warm. We were exited to see Apple seed but we saw another person named Dizzy ( but I  think it was actually Apple seed. ) We had to split into 4 teams, I was with Dizzy ( still think hes Apple seed ) but anyway it was nice being with him. The first activity was to get over a mud pit and there was a platform you had to stand on and if you fell off # times you would have to start from the start, it was very scary but we did it! Then they showed us the forest it was very beautiful and we could play THERE!
I was very fun in the first place but...... there was a WASP NEST! Every one was running and I didn't know what was happening but then I realized there were wasps and I ran and ran and ran and never stoped runing.

Yesterday was very pleasant. I got to school and I was feeling it was going to be a fantastic day, but I guessed wrong. When I entered the class there he was, the Singing Inspector. Living in an informal settlement

Yet another day in my shack. How great. You can already here that I live in a informal settlement, yes you may say that living in shack is a piece of trash, but it’s my home. I wake up on the floor, still dark outside. I start to get ready to go to school, I get dressed I expected that we would have breakfast this time, but no we didn’t sadly. I said goodbye to my mom as I walked through the door, the sun started to rise as I was on my way to school, it felt nice to have the sun shining on my face. The way to school is kinda far from my house, on my way I had to cross a river from what looks like it was left from the flood we had a week ago. It seemed I wasn’t the only one crossing this river. There were other children, also small children. They seemed to be struggling to get to the other side of the river, but I had no time to help them.
